The sensor detects changes in the position of a conductive machine target, while the CON021 conditions the sensor response for the associated monitoring equipment.
The PR6423/011-110-CN functions as the sensing element and is installed toward the monitored shaft or other conductive target. Changes in the target-to-probe distance alter the electromagnetic response at the sensor tip, allowing mechanical movement to be detected without physical contact.
