The BMXDDO1602H receives output commands from the PLC through the Modicon X80 backplane and changes the corresponding output state according to the control application.

The PLC application determines whether an output should be activated or deactivated. The command is transferred to the output module, where the corresponding channel controls its connected discrete circuit.

First verify that the PLC application is actually commanding the expected output. Then check the module status, field wiring, power supply, terminal connections, and connected load. A correct PLC command does not by itself confirm that the field circuit is functioning.
If the PLC output status changes correctly but the connected equipment does not respond, inspect the field circuit and actuator. If the PLC does not command the output when all expected conditions are satisfied, investigate the application logic, permissives, interlocks, and controller configuration before replacing the output module.
