The PR6423 sensor is installed near a conductive shaft or target surface, while the CON021 signal converter handles the sensor-side electrical interface and signal conditioning. The PR6423/017-030-CN sensor establishes an electromagnetic field around the sensing area. When a conductive shaft or target moves closer to or farther from the sensor, the resulting eddy current response changes.
The CON021 Eddy Current Signal Converter receives the sensor response and converts it into a suitable signal for the associated monitoring system.
