The Epro PR6423/011-110+CON021 8mm Eddy Current Sensor+Eddy Current Signal Converter combines an 8 mm eddy current probe with a compatible signal-conditioning converter for rotating machinery measurement. The probe detects changes in the distance between the sensing tip and a conductive machine target, while the converter prepares the sensor signal for connection to machinery monitoring and protection equipment.
The PR6423/011-110 functions as the sensing element installed near the monitored shaft. It detects shaft movement without physical contact, making the measurement suitable for rotating equipment where continuous observation of mechanical movement is required.
The CON021 forms the signal-conditioning stage of the measurement chain. It receives the probe signal and conditions it for the associated monitoring electronics. This configuration can be used for measurements related to shaft displacement, position, eccentricity, and vibration.

The PR6423/011-110 detects changes in the electromagnetic field caused by the movement of a conductive target. The sensor response is then transferred to the CON021 for signal conditioning.

When the monitored shaft moves relative to the probe, the probe-to-target distance changes. This changes the eddy-current response at the sensor tip. The CON021 processes the sensor signal and provides a conditioned output for the downstream machinery monitoring equipment.
